West Hollywood Approves New Marijuana Resolution

West Hollywood, CA June 20, 2006 -- West Hollywood has adopted a plan that tells Sheriff's Deputies to leave marijuana users alone.

The city council voted for the resolution four votes to none.

It directs deputies not to target adult marijuana users who consume the drug in private and pose no danger to the community.

Smoking in public is not allowed, and minors and drug dealers could still be subject to arrest.
