and Few Could Use an Angel... |
Dear Friends, This is a request for help. Most of you know about our situation and have been most supportive. For those that are unfamiliar, Robyn and I were busted by the federal government about a year ago for medical pot and conspiracy to commit prostitution. For me this comes on the heels of a three year (or more) bout with the justice system in Sonoma and San Francisco. Needless to say I'm out of steam. Just about everyone we know has said at some point, "If there is anything I can do to help, just let me know". As I await my surrender to the federal marshals on June 9th, there is something that would really help. Thanks to our federal government, our credit has bottomed out. This becomes a problem when one is attempting to rent a house. For the last several weeks we have been living by the grace of several of our friends. Although we are appreciative, we cannot overlook the fact that we are essentially homeless. Without a stable home and address, Robyn is certain to end up in a half-way house which would be devastating. We are trying to hold on to our german shepards, which are very important to us. Essentially, they are our family. Robyn and I have found a 2000 sq. ft. live/work loft with a store front in downtown Vallejo for $975/month. If there is someone out there that would be willing to co-sign, or rent it and sublet it to us that would go a long way toward saving our lives. Although money is in short supply, Robyn will be able to support the rent and expenses while I am in jail. There is also the matter of our pick-up truck. The financing company won't let us finish paying the balance due on the loan as we have been unable to make regular payments and have in essence defaulted on the loan. We are in need of a loan to pay off the balance to the finance company. Basically, we need to refinance the truck. The balance due isn't very much which is why Toyota wants to steal it from us. If there is anyone out there willing to do this for us we would be forever grateful (and in your debt for the duration of the loan repayment). Please feel free to contact us for a discussion of the nitty-gritty details.
Friends, this is basically a final cry for help. We have been able to
hang on for the last year while we have been under the thumb of the
federal government, but we are at the end of our rope. We are hoping
that this plea finds our angels and that we will be able to stay in
the Bay Area to continue to help working toward changing the cruel and
unjust laws that are the reason we are in this situation today. P.S. Please feel free to forward this to anyone that may be able to help. |
