Since 2000 I've been involved with fighting a marijuana cultivation charge here in Northern, CA. I have my primary care physician's approval and recommendation to use and grow marijuana for my medical condition... I have 3 degenerative disks in my lower back.

I do not have the cash to fight this charge anymore, and my court appointed attorney was a joke... a bad one... so I need some help. I had to accept the offer of cultivation of marijuana... or face 4 years in prison... even with my primary care physician's letter of recommendation re my use of marijuana.

I am hopeful that you could find it in your hearts, and take the time, to write a short, 3 paragraph letter of reference about me, that I can give to the Probation officer at our meeting which is May 23rd, so this needs to be done in the near future. My new attorney says the more letters the better.... if you can't get the letter to me by May 23rd, and still would like to help me out, please write this letter and send it as soon as possible and I will take it to court with me on June 17th.

The 1st paragraph should state who you are and how you know me....
The 2nd paragraph should say something about me in a positive way...
The 3rd paragraph should request leniency in my sentencing...

This letter should be addressed to Judge Miles... and send it to me at this address, so I can bring it with me when I go to meet my probation officer on May 23rd.
